Green, the color of life, is truly sacred and it owes its significance to chlorophyll—the source of energy and oxygen for countless organisms, including us. Photosynthesis, the magic of chlorophyll, breathes life into plants, cyanobacteria, and algae.
Lichens, housing cyanobacteria, also contribute to oxygen production. Alongside mosses, they persistently photosynthesize, even when the world around them takes a winter's nap. In remote places like the Arctic and high mountains, these unsung heroes become the vital oxygen source. This photo is dedicated to them, and to the photosynthesis as a life-giving force on our planet.

The photo is a part of the "SAGOSKOGEN" collection - a collection of art photos of northern nature, that I like to call fairytales told by the Swedish forest in the language of images (In Swedish "Saga" means fairytale, and "Skogen" means forest, so "Sagoskogen" means the fairytale forest).

ABOUT SHIPPING
- The print will be packed in a heavy-duty tube or box for safe delivery.
- Prints with a size of up to 40x60 cm are ready to send in 3 days, as I print them myself. And bigger prints (60x80 and 75x100 cm) are ready to be sent in 5-7 days.
- Delivery time depends on the custom, but usually it takes no more than 7 days.
